On May 23, 2025, the team at Loyal Trust Company Ltd (LTC) embarked on a solemn and meaningful visit to the Kamonyi Genocide Memorial Site. This act of remembrance was held in honor of the victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi—a tragedy that remains deeply rooted in Rwanda’s national memory and history.
During the visit, LTC staff paid their respects to the lives lost, laid wreaths in silence, and listened to testimonies that offered painful but necessary reminders of our past. It was a moment of reflection and collective mourning, but also of strength and solidarity. As a Rwandan company, we recognize the importance of participating in remembrance activities as a way of honoring those we lost and learning from the past to prevent such atrocities from ever happening again.
This visit was more than just a gesture. It reaffirmed our company’s commitment to unity, reconciliation, and building a peaceful and inclusive Rwanda. At LTC, we believe that remembrance is not only about looking back—it’s about carrying forward the values of humanity, dignity, and respect in everything we do.
